Fencing Lessons

Jaclyn and her mom started sword fighting with my drumsticks. I thought this a good stimulating activity to engage in with my child so I have also started teaching her fencing skills. Someday she may advance to more intense styles like fighting with a light saber for instance. However, do to the fact that she can barely wield a drumstick, this will have to do.

"Woods" November 2008

The video above is a preview for the upcoming motion picture entitled "Woods." In it the combined talents of Joseph Bartholomew and Nate Woodward create a picture that will become an instant classic. This film was filmed during the time when Sand Dancing 2 was scheduled to be in production. However, because of the last minute lack of cast, this film was made instead. Although it was made on the spot, do not shun it for lack of quality. This is one of the finest pictures made by Oh Pee Productions. Tanner Smith also makes an apperance in this film and clinches a lead role in the sequal "Barbeque" scheduled to come out in the summer of 2009. The premier of the movie "Woods" will take place during this coming thanksgiving weekend. The time and place are still being arranged. But here is a sneek peak of what is in the making.

Turkey Bowl 2008

In anticipation of the annual "Turkey Bowl," Jaclyn has shown an unusual amount of excitement as demonstrated in the video below.

The "Turkey Bowl" will take place this year on the Lyle S. Henderson Field in Dayton, Idaho at 7:00 am Thanksgiving Morning. A new level will be reached in competitiveness this year that has not been reached in years previous. Four captains will be appointed that will be responsible for forming teams prior to the actual event, which will result in a more organized event that distributes fun to all of its recipients. Anyone interested in a captain position can contact me by phone, email, or by simply commenting on this blog.

Movie Poster

Production has now started on the upcoming Sand Dancing film. This poster is subject to change seeing how very few have responded to the original casting call. The call is out to every able bodied man woman or child who can dance. This is going to be the best Sand Dancing Film ever made.

The She Bear

Jaclyn is starting a new phase in her life where she is experimenting with standing. She can stand all by herself but only for short amounts of time. It is very humorous to watch her as she goes from all fours to standing, the similarities to this and a bear are amazing. She even waves her hands like a bear waves his paws. I'm sorry we don't have a better picture of her standing like a bear but if you just put her head on the picture of the bear that is what she looks like. It is pretty cute and funny. I'm proud of my little she-bear.

The Sands of Egin Lake

I have now come up with a idea for the much anticipated sequel of Sand Dancing. It will be called "The Sands of Egin Lake." What it will entail is a Sand Dancing Competition in mockumentary form. It will be more then just a competition, however, because the winner becomes Sand Dancing Champion of the Universe and wins a chicken trophy. I find it highly unlikely to be able to reunite the complete original cast. But I will be taking auditions for parts on Saturday May 3, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. either by phone, in person, or by written consent. I also encourage anyone who may want to create a movie poster, (Joseph), to promote this wonderful movie, to do so and email me their poster so I can post it on this glorious blog. (I will still be taking auditions after May 3rd as well for those of you who don't check my blog on a regular basis). That is all for now, please add any ideas that you might have or suggestions on how to make this work. The actual filming will take place in August of 2008 and the movie will debut sometime in September.

Sunflower Seeds

So the other day Erin and myself were walking all over Rexburg because it was warm outside. This brought great joy and happiness to our hearts. Jaclyn was enjoying herself in the stroller in front of us and the world itself seemed at peace. While on this joyful journey we stopped at the retail chain of Sam Walton and while there we purchased a bag of sunflower seeds because I wanted to learn how to eat them. In all of my years I have never had the patience to eat a sun flower seed properly in societies views. I usually just eat the entire seed; however, I have recently learned that there is a better way. The following is the proper way to eat sunflower seeds:

#1: Salivate on the seed for approximately one minute or until good and moist.
#2: Place the sunflower seed to the front of mouth balancing it between the front teeth.
#3: Bite down on the sides of the seed breaking the shell into two pieces.
#4: Remove the delicious innards and spit out the shells.

(Note: It is better to start with just one seed and then slowly work your way up to the preferred amount).

I know that if you follow my simple four step program you too will have a more enjoyable time eating sunflower seeds.

The Rise of the Kick'n Chicken

So I, Nate Woodward, have now officially started a blog. Some may ask, "What could he possibly write that would be of value and interest?" And I answer with this; ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, HUH! So from henceforth and forever, or until I stop blogging, if you are tired of the same old things on other people's blogs. Come and rest here and engage in the randomness of nothing. A very wise man once said, "To be nothing is everything."

Okay so I made that quote up and so far my blog is completely pointless and stupid, however the future holds such things as movie clips produced by Oh Pee Productions, Movie Trailers of upcoming Oh Pee Production Movies, photos of curly fries, and anything else I find suits the theme of the blog.
